Harmony

Piano sits at the centre, playing simple, open figures that leave room around them. Strings carry the body of the arrangement — low cellos and basses holding the floor, violins stacked high above the piano and sustaining through the chord changes rather than cutting across them. Woodwinds thread through the middle, taking short melodic answers where the piano leaves gaps, their reediness softening the string tone. The top of the mix stays bright and airy; the bottom is broad and slow-moving, more weight than definition.

It opens at 0:00 with a moderate, mid-register statement — piano and a thin string pad, enough to set the harmony without committing to it. At 0:11 the full ensemble arrives and stays: strings at full width, woodwinds doubling the melodic line, and that weight holds for nearly three minutes, swelling and easing but never dropping out, which is what makes it work under a long reveal. At 2:59 everything strips back to a sparse low register and the colour darkens. At 3:09 a moderate final statement rebuilds in that lower, darker register and carries to the end at 3:33.

It suits documentary and brand work that needs to open out slowly — landscape, aerial, archive, a product or a person revealed over a long take. The long central plateau is the bed: drop in anywhere between 0:15 and 2:55 and the level barely moves, so it sits under narration without riding. Clean cuts at 0:11, 2:59 and 3:09. It does not loop — the darker ending is written as one — but the 2:59 tail closes a sequence on its own, and the first eleven seconds make a warm title sting.
